We can issue PADI technical diving certifications. The following courses:

PADI Technical Certification

Tec Basics Diver

Requirements:

  • Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent)
  • Enriched Air Diver
  • 15 years old
  • 30 logged dives
  • Medical Statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months

Tec 40

Variants:

  • Tec 40 (air + nitrox)
  • Tec 40 Trimix (trimix + nitrox)

Requirements:

  • Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent)
  • Enriched Air Diver
  • 18 years old
  • 30 logged dives
  • Medical Statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months

Program:

  • 1 knowledge development session
  • 1 practical application session
  • 1 confined water dive
  • 3 open water dives

Dives:

  • 40 meters depth
  • 10 minutes deco
  • 0 deep stops

Gasses:

  • bottom: air or trimix 21/35
  • deco: 1 gas, up to EAN50
  • travel: none

Tec 45

Variant:

  • Tec 45 (air + nitrox)
  • Tec 45 Trimix (trimix + nitrox)

Requirements:

  • Tec 40 (or equivalent)
  • Rescue Diver (or equivalent)
  • EFR (or equivalent) issued in last 24 months
  • 18 years old
  • 50 logged dives
  • 10 dives deeper than 30 metres/100 feet
  • Medical Statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months

Program:

  • 1 knowledge development session
  • 1 practical application session
  • 1 confined water dive
  • 3 open water dives

Dives:

  • 45 meters depth
  • 15 minutes deco
  • 3 deep stops

Tec 50

Variant:

  • Rescue Diver (or equivalent)
  • EFR (or equivalent) issued in last 24 months
  • 18 years old
  • Minimum of 100 logged dives or 75 hours
  • Medical Statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months

  • 1 knowledge development session
  • 1 practical application session
  • 1 confined water dive
  • 3 open water dives

Dives:

  • 50 meters depth
  • 30 minutes deco
  • 4 deep stops

  • Normoxic Trimix

  • Hypoxic Trimix

Requirements:

  • Tec 50 or Trimix Diver (or equivalent)
  • EFR (or equivalent) issued in last 24 months
  • Rescue Diver
  • 18 years old
  • 150 logged dives
  • Medical Statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months

Program:

  • 1 knowledge development session
  • 1 practical application session
  • 1 confined water dive
  • 7 open water dives

Dives:

  • 90 meters depth
  • unlimited deco
  • unlimited deep stops

Gasses:

  • bottom: hypoxic trimix, with oxygen 13% or more
  • deco: unlimited, up to EAN100
  • travel: unlimited travel gases (any trimix)

Academic:

  • Gas selection options, especially deco gases
  • Bubble models and deep stops
  • Using multigas trimix computers
  • Handling up to four stage/deco cylinders

Who will be my instructor?

Matt is a PADI IDC Staff Instructor and Hypoxic Trimix Technical Diver Instructor. He was awarded the PADI Elite Instructor Award in 2022 and received the PADI certificate of excellence for outstanding customer service and professionalism in September 2022. Matt is the lead instructor for EVA105 (Fundamentals of Underwater Analog EVA), EVA106 (Engineering for Underwater Environments) and the "Scientific Diver Course" for the International Institute for Astronautical Sciences (formerly known as Project PoSSUM). He is currently involved in the development, neutral buoyancy, and parabolic flight tests of the Advanced Crew Medical Restraint System for commercial astronaut ACLS and CPR procedures. Matt is also a First/Secondary Adult and Child Care Emergency First Responder instructor.

What insurance do I need?

Yes. All technical diving requires proper insurance. We recommend DAN Pro Insurance, which covers decompression sickness, hyperbaric chamber treatment, and other diving-related accidents.

What medical qualifications I must meet?

PADI standards define health criteria that you must meet. In case of any problems, you need a doctor's written approval to dive. No exceptions to these rules! Make sure you comply (or have written approval from a doctor) before traveling to Poland.

What documents and forms I need to sign?

At the beginning of the course (and before any in-water activities), student divers must:

  • Pass the e-learning course
  • Successfully complete a quick review
  • Sign the PADI Release of Liability/Assumption of Risk Acknowledgment Form
  • Sign the PADI Standard Safe Diving Practices Statement of Understanding
  • Sign the PADI Medical Statement

No signature, no diving. No exceptions!

All these certifications are without an expiration date, and they will serve you for life. Please contact us for more information about the payment options. Mind, that traditionally technical courses will include the cost of instructor gasses and logistics (split between all students).
